January 22 - Timer

We got our hands on a wonderful electric heated blanket. The added bonus to this heated blanket is that each half has it's own control. In essence my husband (who is usually warm to begin with) can have one temperature that is comfortable for him while I can have a warmer temperature because I am usually cold.

We thought it would be a good idea to get a special timer that would automatically turn the blanket on half-an-hour before we go to bed and then turn off at a certain point in the night. With the blanket we could turn the baseboard heat down in the bedroom. The blanket itself is set to turn off after 10 hours of being on so its not too much of a worry. It would just be nice to have a warm bed waiting for us to crawl into.
