June 2 - Coombs Day Trip

Parrot at the World Parrot Refuge that liked Evan

My husband I decided to go travel to Coombs today since we both had the day off.
On our way there we stopped at a Parrot Refuge -- http://worldparrotrefuge.org/

Something kind of fun about being yelled at by a bunch of birds who want attention:  "Hello!" "Hello?" "Hi!" "I love you!" "Hello!"

The blue bird in the photo to the left is one of only 10,000 that are known to exist. She was a lovely bird.

We left the Parrot Refuge and went to Coombs.
Although it wasn't raining (thank goodness!) it was fairly chilly with the wind. Later in the afternoon it started to heat up as the wind died down. Overall it was a good day to go for a wee trip.

We took a few cute and funny photos of us when we arrived in Coombs.

 And of course... one cannot go to Coombs without seeing the Goats on the Roof!!!!
