Today my husband and our friend went for a walk in Linley Valley and Cottle Lake Park
It is a beautiful walk.
In fact I must say that it is probably my favorite trail in Nanaimo that I have experienced so far.

At one point during the walk you come across some old abandoned cars.
There are about six of them. Some are more beat up then others. But I find them fascinating.
I do not know how long they have been there and I do not know how they got there.
But I took these two shots while on our walk.
I also took this one of my husband taking a picture of ice on the lake.
It was a beautiful sunny day and it felt great to get outside.
The walk that we have taken is about 1.5-2 hours long; however, that is including all our stops to take photographs.
I look forward to our next journey around the lake.
