July 8 - Being Followed Home

The office cat from my work tried following me home today!
Silly kitty go home!
You can't follow me!
She followed me for a good 2-3 blocks before stopping and watching me vanish around the corner.
She likes going for little walks with me. Quite often she will follow me to and from the mail box during office hours too.
I love our office cat!

July 7 - Happy Anniversary

After an amazing one-hour-long couples massage we drove out to Cathedral Grove. This place has a special meaning for us. It was the place of our first official date and the place where Evan proposed.

Its amazing to think that over a year ago Evan and I sat on the middle of the log seen to the right and got engaged. We took a photo of our hands over the same exact spot.

We had a nice fancy dinner at Zougla!

CHEERS TO ONE YEAR!

July 6 - Day 1 of Anniversary Celebrations

July 7th marks our first year wedding anniversary! Pretty exciting stuff.
Evan booked us a lovely weekend stay at Pacific Shores Resort!
We took so many photos over the weekend that deciding what images to use for the blog got really hard.
I have selected a few good ones to share.

Before we checked into the resort we went to Butterfly World!
We took a moment to sit down and snapped this photo.

One of our favorite things to see was this cute turtle sunning himself. Legs all stretched out. At first we thought he was stuck, but he was happy.

We arrived at our special suite to discover an amazing two-person Jacuzzi and amazingly big king sized bed! I am almost certain the entire suite was bigger than our apartment!

And that night for dinner we enjoyed an amazing feast worth well over $100.00CAD with an amazing view! It reminded me of my aunt and uncle in PEI because this is where they got married. There was a wedding that finished just before we started our dinner and we could still see some white chairs in the distance.

Evan climbed a tree.                                                                                              I climbed some rocks.
The walk was a lovely way to end our evening.

July 5 - Dinner with Friends

Evan, Millar, Nathan, and Dylan and I all went to a Japanese restaurant today. We go there at least once a month.

The food is really good and the prices are not bad either.
Our friend Nathan used to live in Japan and can speak Japanese very well! He loves going here and talking in Japanese with the workers and the patrons.

If you want to know where the good Japanese food is... go where the Japanese people go!

July 4 - Tomatoes

For those of you that have been keeping up-to-date with this blog you may interested in seeing the following.

WOO! Tomato plant has some red tomatoes going on. Overall thought the plant looks like it is about to die.
It was really exciting to see some red tomatoes on the plant though. Seems the went red overnight!

July 3 - Wendys Wednesday

Today I worked in the morning and Evan worked in the evening.
When Evan got home from work around 10:30pm he brought with him some Wendy's to share! WooHoo!

Made me think of my aunt as I ate my fries.
Wendy's fries are made with PEI potatoes from Cavendish Farms.
I shall have to go to PEI again. It is a lovely little island.

July 2 - Oh No!

So today was my first day back at work after my wonderful camping weekend.
Wake up in the morning and get all ready to go to catch my bus and realize that it is no longer June! I had the wrong pass!

Thankfully Evan had the day off and was able to drive me to work.
Talk about a negative start to my day.
